Carroll Fire Station – Carroll, IA  HGM completed this 14,266 SF new building, with a 3,500 SF storage mezzanine.  The building includes a hose tower for drying, 9 vehicle bays, bedrooms/bath, kitchen, dining, living room, training and fitness areas, offices/lobby/reception, site utilities, and parking. 225TH Street (East Beltway) – Council Bluffs, IA HGM held public meetings and initiated ROW acquisition.  This  urban roadway was designed with a new alignment.  Work included 300,000 cubic yards earthwork (Loess Soils), 35,000 square feet of paving, extensive erosion control, storm sewer system, letdown structures, diversion berms and special matting and seeding.   Click here for more information.

 

IA Hwy 2/275 (Sidney) Bypass – Fremont County, IA HGM is the lead design firm for this specially funded bypass.  The project included many partnering sessions with locals, IaDOT, County, State and HGM participants.  Our firm designed: 3.7 miles of grading, drainage and paving (mostly new alignment), reconstruction of 6 side road intersections.
