IA Hwy 2/275 (Sidney) Bypass

HGM is the lead design firm for this specially funded bypass.  The project included many partnering sessions with locals, IaDOT, County, State and HGM participants. 

Our firm designed: 3.7 miles of grading, drainage and paving (mostly new alignment), reconstruction of 6 side road intersections, 6 reinforced concrete box culverts, over 1.8 million cubic yards of earthwork (Loess Soil), 38 parcel plats for R.O.W. acquisition, all pick up survey & ground control survey, new 2 and 3 lane roadway with special design considerations for erosion control with Loess soils.
